Best wishes to all at this time of year, when it seems fitting to rally round the family and celebrate for whatever reason one can come up with. Your comment makes even more sense now that I’ve peeked at your blog and see you are a Presbyterian!
My point was that Christ’s name, however represented even if by a chi, has been hijacked by the secularists for this time of the year and is increasingly being commercialised and de-sanctified even if we take the purist approach that it should not be celebrated anyway, given that there is no fixed date for the birth of Christ.
