It looks like police, especially those in Kinder, Louisiana, have finally gotten sick of pit bulls. This should come as no surprise, and I personally have never had much love for pit bulls. Pit bulls are almost like Africanized bees; it’s a mistake of a breed that is completely faulty, and it’s easy to tell.
What I love about the Kinder, La. story is the part about the animal control officer being trapped on her vehicle by a pit bull. You know the pit bull population is out of control when rogue pit bulls are trapping animal control officers on vehicles, but isn’t that why we have animal control officers in the first place? Looks like it’s time for the citizens of Kinder to pony up for an Animal Control SWAT team. I’m reminded of what Conlon said in his book about NYPD’s Emergency Services Unit: “When a cop needs a cop, he calls ESU.”

Gee excessive use, I sure appreciate it if you’d consult your local veterinarian and inform your opinion of the breed, American Pit Bull Terrier. While I understand there is limited time in life for education, I also think we are responsible for being informed if we are going to voice our beliefs. So maybe just stick to areas you are better informed about…

pitbulls have certain qualities that no other dog has, making it a special breed.
every dog can be made a killer, even a jack russel.
if you look at the last 5years..labrdador retrievers and jack russels are the most bite active dogs in the world… the reason: simple..its a trend to get those breeds and people have no clue what they are getting themselves into.
a pitbull isnt agressive at all! its what you make of it as owner!!!

wow.. your completly stupid. i have the most amazing and loveable 50lbs 1&1/2 year old pitbull and a 7lb westhighland terrier and toy poodle mix.. and lemme tell you.. the 7lbs dog beats up the pitbull and she lets her.. never snaps back, never bites, and rarely barks.. i thonk you are sooo missinformed and a complete moron… you need some actual interaction with the things your are intollerant of so understand how wrong you really are…

Wow, I am not sure I even have to say anything everyone before me has pretty much summed it all up, haha. You really need to do your homework hun, i wont sit here and call you an ass, although … ya are.
German Shepards are no comparrison to a Pit Bull, they have attacked plenty more poepl than pit bulls, and you know why you dont know this? Because the media will not conver a german shepard or golden retriever attack, becuase they can blame it all on pit bulls, i cant even tell you how many times i have seen coverage of a so called pit attack, when it wasnt even a pit bull!!!!! so please, watch a video, research the breed and learn the truth before you speak the lies!!!!!!!!! I have grown up around pit bulls my entire life, rescued ones from dangerous fighting rings that were once vicious fighters, my mother re-trained them them and slowly introduced them back into society and eventually around children, slowly! and they were fine, never ever again once showed one sign of agression, EVER! If it wernt for a pit my 6 month old son would not be alive, thank you! He came into my room from where he slept every niht, murphy, my pit, he slpet under my sons crib daily and nightly, he came in barking hysterically and frantically led me to where my son lay, Liam ( my son ) was 4 weeks old, he was choking and gasping for air while trying t oscream and cry … if it wernt for murphy sensing danger, my son would be dead you jerk, so for all of you assholes, not saying just you sir, but all of the other idiots who pick up on garbage liek this and see the medias stories of pits attacking children, dont leave any dog around a child i dont care if its a pomeranian, i have seen them especially attack children out of pure hatred and jealousy, dont leave you kid with dogs unless you really really trust them and they are extremly obidient and well behaved and you have had you children and the dog since they were both babies, and even then be careful, i trust murphy with my life, he is from a long lived line of pure bred pits my mopther had rescued and re-trained who were all once fights and mean dogs as you would call them, and after that, none ever showed aggression, not their litrers after them nothing!!!! so check your shit before you speak it!

Hahaha! All you can do is laugh at the ignorance of some people. All dogs have the potential to be violent, but a well trained dog will be just fine. I just bought my second Pit, and they are awesome, intelligent and friendly. Do your homework bru, before you make a cock of yourself.
